They say, “it’s all about the bride”, “it’s her day”. I don’t find that to be true very often. Jamie and Suzanne shared a fantastic evening at the Burlington Marriott. From cutting up with the guys to one of the funniest ring exchange of all times, this groom had his moments. All grooms should follow his advice with keeping it real – real fun, that is.
This all-day workshop will explore another beloved book structure, the Japanese Puncture (or “Stab”) Binding. The technique is especially useful because it joins individual sheets. The sheets can be edited and sequenced by the artist, then bound, resequenced and bound again, and again! – verses filling a bound book. This is my favorite artist’s book for visual journals, print collections, photo albums, signature books, and upscale scrapbooks.

Whether you consider them, vintage, super chic, or old-fashioned, birdcage veils are back. These lovely styles remind us of the glamorous 1940’s and 50’s. A time when a more modern approach to the historical trend of veiling the bride really began to take off. No longer seen as a way to show purity, chastity and modesty, no longer a shield of protection against evil spirits, we are free to interpret in a modern context.
When it comes to wedding day transportation, the type of vehicle is only the beginning. While fairytale visions of riding off into the sunset seem simple, all the choices can be confusing. Focusing on basics can make your selection easier. How many people do you need to provide transportation for; just the bride and groom… Read More»
